Congrats to freaking rock legend Dave Grohl and his wife Jordyn Blum. They welcomed their first baby, Violet Maye into the world. With all the TomKittens and crap going on, it's nice to see normal people have kids. Well, as normal as you can get when the daddy in question once played drums in fucking Nirvana and how is frontman to the Foo Fighters. Both amazing bands, to say the least.
Anywho, Violet was named for Dave's grandma, and weighed 7 pounds and 15 ounces at birth. She was measured at 21 inches long, and was described by her proud daddy as "just perfect." Aw. Mommy and baby are happy and healthy, reports their spokesbitch.
