So the Simpson girls were to be photographed for Rolling Stone magazine. Ultra-cool photographer David LaChappelle was to take the pictures. The girls backed out because "they have their wholesome image to protect" and he wanted them to be "edgy." Oh please. Give me a damn break. Anybody remember that disgraceful remake of "These Boots are Made for Walkin'"? Chestica wasn't exactly reading the Bible to orphans in that shitty video.
A source close to the girls who are waaaay to close to their dad says: " "Locations were changed. Jessica was told she couldn't use her hair guy [and best friend] Ken Paves even though David used him for other shoots,"
"Then, he changed hair people three times the day before the shoot. He started making demands that made her uncomfortable ... telling her the shot was going to be down and dirty and in a bar with snakes ... like she was Paris Hilton. She has to protect her image - and he was going to kill it."
Then David exploded to Rolling Stone: "They're everything that's wrong with music ... Out of everything combined, they're everything wrong with culture, and everything wrong with art, and what we think of as art and musical culture - in one family!
"They're nothing. They have nothing. They hold no interest whatsoever for anybody. They're reality-red-carpet, lip-synching television stars.
"I don't know what they are beyond that. I don't think they offer anything ... I was only doing it because of my relationship with Rolling Stone,"
"We were going to try and make the Simpsons look cool. I realize now that is an impossible task."
"Like she was Paris Hilton?" Bitch just needs a sex video and she IS Paris Hilton! Give me a break! And David LaChappelle got it right on the nose. "They're everything wrong with music." Yeah, that's awesome. You rule, man.
