Proof, rapper in the group D12, and very close friend of Eminem, was shot and killed at an illegal club in Detroit. Apparently, the club itself was legal, it was just illegally open after hours. Anywho, the rapper, whose real name is Deshaun Holton was featured in the film 8 Mile, played by Mekhi Pheifer. He served as Eminem's best man in his wedding in January.
My sympathies to his family, and to Eminem. I know they were friends long before Marshall made it big and got into the millions.
